Dolphins Win With 20 Personal Bests

On Saturday 02 December 2006 Witham Dolphins won the first round of the Essex Sprint League at Loughton Sports Centre.Having gained promotion last season the team came first in the match against Braintree, Epping and Dagenham.

Witham won with 211 points, Epping 162 points, Braintree 152 points and Dagenham 140 points

The Witham team achieved a total of 33 first places overall with 20 personal bests. Gemma Wass, making her debut swim for the club in two individual events, won both.

There were also first places for Troy Lloyd-Warne, Sarah Purnell, Charlotte White, Myles Florey, Katie Stratton, Jonathon Briggs, Hannah Flight, Matt Bilbey, Lauren Baker, Lauren Flight, Megan Florey, Catherine Lumley, Alex Cuff and Matthew Davies.
