Florey On Fire!

On Saturday 21 January 2006 Myles Claims GOLD!

Myles Florey recently claimed GOLD in the first round of the Essex ASA Championships.

In the 50 Metre Backstroke this is the first time in a number of years that a Witham Dolphins swimmer has claimed a First Place GOLD Medal in the Championships and needless to say they are ecstatic with Myles's achievement.

Apart from Myles claiming his Gold medal he also managed to gain 5th Place in the 50 Metre Butterfly Final also.

Witham Dolphins entered a small number of swimmers in this year's event and excellent performances & Personal Best times were achieved by Charlotte White, Lauren Baker, Katie Stratton, Lauren Egg, Sarah Purnell, Catherine Lumley & Louise Cummins together with Jordan Jowitt & Matthew Bilbey.

Head coach Paul Robins was simply delighted with the team efforts.
